#5 - A Sunday evening in Bengaluru | A Descriptive Memoir

It's around 6 PM on a Sunday evening, the sun is setting and I am sitting at the terrace of a 5 floor PG hostel facing the mighty Agara Lake which has a walking pavement for people to walk/jog,few watercrows(neerkaagam) are swimming, fishes jumping out of water here and there making ripples on the water,up above the water many eagles are flying in a circular manner out of which few white necked eagles(Garudan), the ones that rotates in "Dasavatharam" when "Rangaraja Nambi" is taken, is also flying with the similar sounds, somewhere in a longer distance, I could hear few parrots' call. And then the roads are filled with all sorts of vehicles from cycles, bikes, autos, cars, and different kind of EV bike known as "Yulu" which looks similar to the one that Dhanush drives in "Velai Illa Pattadhari". All these vehicles are producing its own sounds even the EVs producing a sound kind of similar to a low frequency hissing sound, and then obviously the horn sounds. Now, much above the circulating eagles, a flight is flying which looks orangish in color and so shiny due to the reflection of the setting Sun. At a slightly far distance, a construction work is also going on which produces continuous hitting sound of the huge machine being hit on the ground, this looks similar to the one shown in the movie "Ramana".

As light is getting dimmer and dimmer, all the crows, pigeons, parrots, cranes and all sorts of birds are returning back to their nests, and a few short bats are flying into the sky out of nowhere. So, a whole biodiversity and food chain is happening in front of me in the Silicon Valley of India where most people are relaxing their life from stressful weekdays' work of writing codes, building apps for a better hike and money. And then a large group of the rest of people who don't earn so much money than the previous said people are longing for a life like them and envying them, few are also self pitying their lives too. This reminds me of that dialogue from "Katradhu Tamizh", "intha ulagathula rendey peru than".(There are only 2 types of people in the entire world)

And Bengaluru is a perfect blend of Natural forest and Concrete forest. So, among all these above said things we as a "Sagavaasi"(a term I got inspired from the "CokeStudio" song of Khadeeja and Arivu), should live a life tomorrow, that is Monday. But for these other sagavaasi's birds and animals it's just another day of survival.(may be more troublesome than us or more easier than us). This cycle continues like the quote from the series "Dark", ie., " End is the beginning and the beginning is the end". Yes, We are all living in between all these chaos.

Peace.
